They will be joining previously announced presenters Mahershala Ali, Nicolas Cage, Jamie Lee Curtis, Brendan Fraser, Jessica Lange, Matthew McConaughey, Lupita Nyong'o, Al Pacino, Michelle Pfeiffer, Ke Huy Quan, Sam Rockwell, Michelle Yeoh, and Zendaya. More talent will be announced leading up to the March 10 ceremony at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood.
PREVIOUSLY, Feb. 26: The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has unveiled the initial group of presenters for the 96th annual Oscars on March 10. Among the presenters are Mahershala Ali, Nicolas Cage, Jamie Lee Curtis, Brendan Fraser, Jessica Lange, Matthew McConaughey, Lupita Nyong'o, Al Pacino, Michelle Pfeiffer, Ke Huy Quan, Sam Rockwell, Michelle Yeoh, and Zendaya. The producers will continue to announce additional talent in the coming weeks.
Jimmy Kimmel will be returning as the host for the fourth time when he fronts the show. ABC, which has been the home of the Oscars since 1976, will broadcast the live show starting at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT, an hour earlier than usual. Following the live ceremony, ABC will air an original episode of Abbott Elementary to showcase its top programming.
The network's time adjustment means that the annual pre-show will now be 30 minutes long instead of the usual 90, starting at 6:30 p.m. ET/3:30 p.m. PT. The Oscar telecast will be rebroadcast in the Pacific Time zone during primetime after the live presentation. Raj Kapoor will be the showrunner and executive producer of the 96th Oscars, with Molly McNearney and Katy Mullan as executive producers, and Hamish Hamilton as the director.
